Golf Season is Here!
Howdy friends! Dust off those golf clubs
and start stretching! Although it is still
technically “winter” the 2013 golf season is
here!
As most know, the PGA Tour’s season has already
begun with a bang as both Tiger and Phil have
earned early season wins. And The Masters
will be here before we know it (the first
weekend in April).
Also, we know many of you have been checking the
site anticipating the release of our 2013 Rome
Tour schedule. If anyone is not familiar with
the Rome Tour, you can learn all about it on the
FAQ page.
The Rome Tour schedule is in the works right now
and should be released toward the end of this
month [ed. note: the
adult
schedule was released on Feb. 28]! Be sure to check it often as other
fund-raising and charity tournaments are added
throughout the year. With that in mind, anyone
creating a tournament or are interested in doing
so is welcome to
contact us and we’ll be happy to assist you
whatever your needs may be.
And for those of you who have junior golfers,
the Rome Junior Tour schedule will also be
released soon [ed. note: the
junior schedule was released on Feb. 28].
Aside
from checking the site often, the best way to
stay on top of local golf news is to like our
Facebook page. Each time a news story
is posted on the site, an announcement of the
post is also put on Facebook. And of course
Facebook gives you the chance to recount your
participation in a particular event too by
supplying your own posts and views.
Finally, a sincere “Thank You” to all our
visitors and friends for the thousands of “hits”
to the site, making its success truly
remarkable. We’re looking forward to a fun
filled 2013 golf season! We are blessed to have
many great
golf courses in Greater Rome and neighboring
communities.
