Local High Schools Earn Berth in Sectionals!
Congratulations to the Pepperell Girls Golf Team
for their 3rd place finish in the 3A Region
Tournament on Monday played at Cherokee Golf
Country Club in Cedartown. Their team score of
317 qualifies them for State Sectionals for the
first time in school history! The team was led
by senior Meg McCord along with sophomores
Bailey Wright and Sydney Shell, and freshmen
Sydney Edwards and Josie McGraw. Congratulations
Girls!
We also want to congratulate the Model High
School boys for finishing 2nd in their 2A Region
Tournament Monday at Coosa Country Club. The
team shot a 311, with Cooper Greer coming in
with a 75, Grant Elliott with a 76, and Cody
Boazman and Jonathan Bryan both carding an 80.
Gordon Lee won the tournament with a 304.
