Rome Tour Schedule!
Its that time golf fans golf season is here!
Our local high school golfers are a couple of weeks into their season
already and with daylight saving time finally here and warmer weather
just around the corner, the rest of us are looking forward to getting
outside and playing!
Actually, many have gotten a head start on their golf game due to the
mild (so far) winter weve been having! That bodes well for our area
golf courses as much work has been going on for many in anticipation for
a great 2017!
With that being said, there have been significant changes at a few of
our area golf courses. Right at the top of the list is
Cedar Valley Golf & Country Club in
Cedartown. The Club has changed ownership and has hired Chuck Butler as
their Superintendent and Matt Brytenson as their Golf Professional! All
who know Chuck also know that he is one of the very best and most
admired Supers in the business. The same goes for Matt as he is one of
the most popular and respected Pros in our area. With the addition of
those two and with the unbelievable amount of work has already gone on
at the club it is going to be a must play for all!
Also,
Meadow Lakes Golf Club
has undergone an ownership change and a lot of work has been going on
there as well. Go check them out!
Keep in mind additional tournaments will be added to the site as they
are made available and if you happen to be a tournament sponsor, we will
be happy to promote your tournament just send the info.
2017 is going to be a great golf season we hope you can go out and
support our many great local golf courses!
