 The
Legends of Callier’s golf tournament went on
without a hitch this weekend, except for one
thing—the lady most of us know as Ms. Lynn was
wasn’t able to be with us.
 As most know
she is at Emory Hospital in need of a liver
transplant. Please keep her and the Miller
family in your thoughts and prayers. Ms. Lynn
has happily dedicated many years to the
tournaments at
Callier Springs Country Club
and she was missed by everyone this past
weekend.
As
for the tournament itself, first place in the
Championship flight went to the team of Green,
Nichols, Minnix, and Morgan whose two-day scores
of 55 - 52, 107 (-33) was just enough to edge
the team of Headrick, Holbrook, B. Miller, and
R. Miller who’s team scored rounds of 54 - 57,
111 (-29).
In the First
Flight, the team of Matthews, Willis, Moon, and
Sorrells took first with scores of 62 - 59, 121
(-19) narrowly beating out the team of Horne,
Edwards, Massey, and Smith who shot rounds of 62
- 60,122 (-18).
