The 2014 Stonebridge Cup kicked off with a great “Classic” last weekend. With a total of 43 players, there was a lot of great golf played and just a few strokes decided the winners.

In the end, Jackie Warner won the net division with a score of 136 narrowly beating out Gene Kendrick and Darrell Wise. Tobin Ayers played nearly flawless golf for the tournament shooting an even par 144 for the weekend. Despite playing even par golf, Tobin still had to fend off Jackie Warner and Rob VanGorder and Alp Kupcuoglu for the gross division victory in a very tight race.

The next Cup event is on Saturday May 10, The Invitational. Remember, the Cup is a five tournament series with your top three finishes (net score) being used towards overall Cup points. The top five players at the end of the year will earn a chance at some great prizes including a full membership at Stonebridge ($1,500 Value).
