Local Junior Scores Career Best and Earns 2nd Place in AJGA Event

Local junior Jonathan Bryan carded a 37/44 in today's Atlanta Junior Golf Association event at Nob North Golf Course in Cohutta, Ga.  Both the 37, shot on the front 9, and the 81 marked  Jonathan's career best.

Alas, the 81 wasn't quite enough to take first as that honor went to Carter Pendley, an 11 year-old from Dalton, who shot an 80.  Jonathan, 12,  came in second and David Smith, 12, also of Dalton, scored an 82 and came in 3rd.

Last summer, Jonathan earned Tournament Champion in the 10-11-year-old division in the 2011 Rome Junior Golf Tournament.
