Results
After having so much rain to deal with lately we
finally had a bright and sunny weekend for the
Two-Man Scramble/Low-Ball this past weekend at
BEAA Country Club as 23 teams made up of some of
the best players in our area battled it out for
the top spots! There were three places awarded
in the three flights which means more than
one-third of the entire field of players earned
their entry fee back plus some!
Eric Lewis and
Dee Pruitt claimed the top spot in the
Championship Flight by two strokes after firing
back-to-back 63s for a total of 126 as the teams
of Matt Rogers/Jeremy McGatha and Jeremy
Willis/Casey McGinnis went back to hole 9 in a
playoff for second and third place after both
teams shot rounds of 61-67-128. Rogers/McGatha
took second after winning the playoff while
Willis/McGinnis settled for third.
In the First
Flight Holly Gaston and Pres Mann took the top
spot with rounds of 66-72-138, just ahead of
Walt Posey/Boo Wise 67-76-142 who grabbed second
place by scorecard regression over Jerle Lockaby/Johnny
Parson who shot 68-74-142.
The Second
Flight saw Bryan Royer and Chip Allgood take
first place shooting 72-67-139, Donnie
Wilson/Joedy McGraw took second with rounds of
71-73-144, and Gary Vincent/Glenn Ollis came in
third with 72-74-146.

BEAA Country Club
Format
Saturday – 2-person scramble (includes 2 mulligans per player)
Sunday – 2 person low ball (optional skins competition
within each flight, $10 per player)
Cost
$75 per person, includes 2 mulligans per
player for Saturday's round; (Complimentary green fee
week of the tournament with paid entry fee - $6.50 cart
per nine holes fee not included.)
